Mrs. Willie Eva Sampson

For 38 years, Mrs. Sampson successfully prepared her students to reach their fullest potential in mathematics. She found fulfillment in building her students confidence and teaching them to think critically so that in the future they would become productive citizens. She was an award-winning teacher who attributes her successes to her dynamic support team which began with her mother who instilled in her a suitable work ethic and her loving husband who cheered her on in her pursuit of academic excellence for herself and her students. She and her husband Samuel were blessed with 3 daughters, the oldest one has gone on to be with the Lord.  They also have3 grandchildren.

Although Mrs. Sampson is retired. She is still active in the community as a member of Richmond County Board of Education Advisory Board, Beulah Grove Baptist Church, and several other organizations. Like Nelson Mandela, she believes that “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” Education holds the key to our children’s future, and it is an investment in our future.
