CSRA OUTREACH ENDOWMENT

Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth is a retired Quality Assurance Engineer/Auditor and Certified Records Administrator with over 30 years of experience at the Dept. of Energy’s Savannah River Site (SRS) Aiken, S.C. During her many years of service, she volunteered at a number of local United Way agencies and critical need programs, including teen mentoring, food and clothes drives, sponsored walks, women and children centers, programs for impoverished Aiken County schools, voter registrations, etc. that benefited children, seniors, disabled and underemployed folks in the surrounding communities.

Elizabeth is a travel consultant and currently resides in the city of North Augusta, S.C. She has two children, three grandchildren and came from a family of ten siblings. Growing up in rural Aiken County, she saw the struggles and limited resources in community service programs and the public school system. She continues to volunteer and participate in a number of civic and community service activities, prayerfully giving hope, one at a time!
